SEO audit and website analysis

I analyse websites and point your SEO in the right direction

I combine an automated crawl of the whole site with my own experience. The software checks every URL; I judge what is really holding the site back and turn it into a prioritised task list. I audit small company sites as well as large platforms with millions of monthly visits.

What the audit covers

What goes into an effective SEO audit

In my experience, a good audit followed by careful implementation is the fastest route to better visibility: the site gets faster, matches search intent better and gets indexed more efficiently.

Page speed

Server setup, CMS, plugins and third-party scripts – everything that slows your site down.

Learn more

The audit includes recommendations that improve loading speed. I look at server configuration (such as the PHP version), CMS and plugin settings, and the third-party technologies running on the site.

Indexing

How Google sees and reads your site – and whether the index is full of pages that should not be there.

Learn more

I check whether the site has indexing problems and whether unnecessary URLs are sitting in Google’s index. The result is a set of recommendations that make better use of crawl budget – the resources Google has to spend to understand your site.

Performance according to Google

PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix and Lighthouse – the problems and the opportunities.

Learn more

I review results from PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix and Lighthouse to find the site’s problems and opportunities. That is the basis for improving rendering time, server response and a lot more.

Core Web Vitals

LCP, INP, CLS, TTFB and FCP – the metrics Google pays close attention to.

Learn more

Google favours fast pages with relevant content, hence Core Web Vitals. I check how your site performs on Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), Interaction to Next Paint (INP), Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS), Time to First Byte (TTFB) and First Contentful Paint (FCP).

Internal linking

Without internal links, even a great page may never make it into the index.

Learn more

Almost any page without proper internal links can struggle to rank – or fail to get indexed at all. The audit covers your internal linking and how it distributes authority across the site, which also affects crawl budget.

Backlinks

Forums, guest posts, spam – I assess your link profile and what to do with it.

Learn more

If your site has been around for a while, it has picked up links of varying quality: forums, articles, and some outright spam. I help you assess the profile, deal with the worst links and get more value out of the good ones.

How you look in Google

Meta tags and structured data that help you stand out from competitors.

Learn more

I check how your pages appear in search results and whether they stand out: meta titles and descriptions, structured data and the features that appear around results. I also check where Google actually sends people on your site.

Content optimisation

Content people enjoy reading that also ranks – including in Google News and Discover.

Learn more

The most beautiful, fastest site will not succeed in Google without the right content. The audit gives you recommendations that make your content more useful, more engaging and better optimised – which also helps with visibility in Google News and Google Discover.

Mobile devices

Does everything work fast and stay easy to use on a phone?

Learn more

The “year of mobile” arrived a long time ago, yet plenty of sites still are not built for phones. I check how your site looks on mobile, whether the content is easy to reach and how fast it loads.

When it makes sense

When is an SEO audit worth it?

Here is when I think an audit really pays off – and when it would just be burning money.

You are building a new site

I will prepare detailed SEO guidelines for the build, the content and the keywords – and I will not forget about promotion after launch.

  • Ideas for promoting the site after launch
  • Wireframe review with different scenarios
  • An initial content plan and site structure
  • Technical recommendations

Your site lags behind competitors

Outdated solutions can be risky, make editing painful and hold back your visibility. I will help you refresh the site or show you what to fix first.

  • In-depth competitor analysis
  • A list of things to improve, with ideas on how
  • Developer-ready recommendations, so “it can’t be done” is off the table

You want the best site in your niche

Nothing wrong with wanting to be the best – I try to be the best at what I do, too. I will help you polish the details and connect the site with your business goals.

  • Fresh, non-template solutions
  • A review of your current SEO strategy
  • Analysis of the links you have earned

You work hard, but the site is not growing

A set of actions, ideas and observations – especially for sites hit by a Google update or suddenly overtaken by competitors.

  • Ideas, recommendations and tests to run
  • Analysis of technical and indexing issues
  • A review of incoming links

You have doubts about your current SEO

Working with an agency or a freelancer and feel something is slipping through the cracks? I will review the work with a critical but fair eye.

  • Whether the reported data and summaries hold up
  • Whether KPIs are delivered as agreed
  • Whether the changes in reports were actually made

My audits

What makes my SEO audits different

Comprehensive

Everything that matters for optimisation: how the site and server perform, content, keywords, current visibility, backlinks and how algorithm updates have affected your rankings.

Focused on technology

Mobile-first indexing, the devices your visitors actually use, traffic data – and where people most often look for you.

Clearly explained

Plain language, whatever your role or technical background. I have been told reading one of my audits is a decent SEO course in itself.

Substance over looks

Do not expect an inflated, glossy document where half the pages could go straight in the bin. It is about substance – and it reads comfortably on a phone, a laptop or on paper.

Up to date

Websites are for people. I will not suggest 10,000 characters of text above your products or 40 near-identical location pages. I check what users expect and choose changes that do not get in the way of navigation.

Developers love it

Every change is backed by a clear rationale and described step by step. Your developer knows exactly what to do. No more “that can’t be done!”

FAQ

Questions about the SEO audit

How much does an SEO audit cost?

The quick audit costs €700, the standard audit €1,000, and the full audit for large sites and brands starts at €2,500. All prices exclude VAT.

In what format will I get the audit?

The quick audit is a report from the automated analysis that I check and organise. The standard and full audits are a document with step-by-step changes plus a call to go through the results.

Will my developer understand it?

Yes – every change is justified and described step by step. The audit is readable for non-technical people and developers alike.

Is the audit just tool output?

The quick audit is largely produced by my own website analysis system, and I check the results. In the standard and full audits the software collects the data, and I write the assessment and recommendations myself.

Do you work with clients outside Poland?

Yes. I work remotely, in English, and we can talk over a video call in a time zone that suits you. I am based near Kraków, Poland (CET).
